Rob Carney, born December 29, 1987 is an aspiring hip-hop artist from the suburbs of New Jersey. Being introduced to music in general at a young age, he was often influenced by such bands as The Eagles, The Four Seasons, The Beatles, Phil Collins, and more. By the time he was 11 he became infatuated with the art, craft and style of hip-hop music do to his older siblings being huge fans of the hip-hop music genre and culture. "Hearing Biggie flow at 13 just wowed me! I think the ability to be so powerful and get an idea across the way he did was amazing" -Rob Carney
At 15 Rob Carney started to take his feelings and channeling them through the craft of hip-hop. "I wasn't open about my writings or raps at first. I really kept it to myself because I felt it was personal like a journal and wouldn't be accepted by my friends" By the time Rob was 17 he met a fellow classmate who had the same interest in the music genre. After teaming up and graduating from high school, they went on to be known as The Neoterics and had many accomplishments together as a group. Touring mostly in the tri-state, The Neoterics opened up and shared the stage with the likes of, Donny Klang from MTV making the band, Cory Gunz from Young Money, JR Writer, Fred The God Son, Tone Trump, and most recently worked with a member of the Four Seasons on different business ideas musically.
Now at 24, split from his Neoterics group, he has formed a relationship with a talented group known as HBL STUDIOS! Keep following! Big things to come!
